City of Hamilton making it easier for people to engage and connect
HAMILTON, ON - The City is launching a new and interactive online space for Hamiltonians to learn about important City initiatives, share their feedback and engage with the community. Engage Hamilton will be used to gather online feedback on City of Hamilton projects, policies and initiatives.
As part of Hamilton’s COVID-19 response, the community is asked to share how they currently receive – and would prefer to receive – important updates and news about reopening plans and the restart of City services and programs.
Engage Hamilton will ensure community members can continue to learn about and provide input on City projects in the absence of in-person engagement activities. Projects currently open for community feedback include Hamilton Responds to COVID, the Hamilton Anti-Racism Resource Centre (HARRC), Hate Mitigation, Trillium Awards 2020 and Why Engage.

“This exciting announcement comes at an important time given that in-person engagement activities are currently on hold. Engage Hamilton will ensure people can continue to learn about important City initiatives. I encourage all Hamiltonians to visit and explore the platform and share their feedback.”
