City Unveils Second Community Clean-Up Trailer
Hamilton, ON – August 11, 2016 – City of Hamilton has unveiled a second community clean-up trailer that will provide volunteers with the tools they need to collect litter, remove graffiti, and weed flower and shrub beds in City parks.
The new trailer – the Clean & Green Clean-Up Trailer – was funded by ArcelorMittal Dofasco and the Keep Hamilton Clean & Green Committee. It provides the tools and supplies volunteers need to help keep City parks clean and green.
The City’s existing Community Clean Trailer has been in very high demand in recent years. With support from ArcelorMittal Dofasco and the Keep Hamilton Clean & Green Committee, the City has refreshed the inside and outside of the existing trailer, and purchased a second trailer, the Clean & Green Clean-Up Trailer.
"The second trailer provides additional tools for dedicated volunteers who are committed to making our neighbourhoods cleaner and brighter," noted Mayor Fred Eisenberger. "ArcelorMittal Dofasco continues to demonstrate their leadership in community development and I'm grateful for their capacity to boost our city to new heights."
Both trailers come stocked with:
