The City of Hamilton has initiated a study for the Greensville Rural Settlement Area (RSA), to provide improvements to the Greensville Drinking Water System (DWS).
The property owners within the Block 1 Servicing Strategy area (bounded by Highway No.8, Fruitland Road, Barton Street and just west of Jones Road) have initiated the Block 1 Servicing Strategy and a Municipal Class EA process (Phase 3 and Phase 4 only) for Gordon Dean Avenue that will extend between Barton Street and Highway No.8 within the Block 1 Area.

The primary purpose of the project is to examine options to improve roadway safety for all users including vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.
The City of Hamilton initiated a Class EA process to develop and assess alternative solutions to improve the intersection at Binbrook Road, Trinity Church Road and White Church Road.
The City has initiated the Class EA process along Garner Road (Wilson Street to the Highway 403 off-ramp) to improve transportation infrastructure. Falling along the S-Line of the BLAST Rapid Transit Network, the study will ensure that the transit priority corridor supports multi-modal (pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles) safety, capacity, traffic management and consistency with neighbouring road segments on Garner Road. The project will also look at stormwater management, complete streets and servicing improvements needed along the road.
The City has initiated a Municipal Class EA study for improvements to Upper Wellington Street, between Limeridge Road East and Stone Church Road East.
