Bus News Summer 2026

Summer service starts on June 28, running up to and including September 5. Changes include a return to summer weekday service frequency on several routes. Service frequency means that buses will arrive at your stop at a fixed time interval, such as every 20 minutes or every 30 minutes.

A few stops will be will be closed this summer, but service will be provided at new stop locations or at alternative stops close by. Several stops will also be renamed.

Canada Day Shuttle

HSR is offering a free shuttle service to Bayfront Park for Canada Day celebrations. The shuttle will operate as follows:

Pre-Fireworks to Bayfront Park - From the Route 99 bus stop at King Street at Summers Lane, buses will:

continue on King Street
right on Bay Street
left on Harbour Front Drive into Bayfront Park

Pre-Fireworks to King Street at Summers Lane from Pier 8, buses will:

continue on Harbour Front Drive
continue east on Strachan Street
right on James Street
right on King Street

Post-Fireworks to Bayfront Park - From the Route 99 bus stop at King Street at Summers Lane, buses will:

continue on King Street
right on Bay Street
left on Harbour Front Drive into Bayfront Park

Post-Fireworks to King Street at Summers Lane - Exiting Bayfront Park via roundabout, buses will:

continue onto Harbour Front Drive
continue east on Strachan Street
right on John Street
right on King Street
