CPKC Holiday Train
Donations
Hamilton Food Share will be collecting food and donations. You can contribute by bring healthy, non-perishable food items such as tuna, beans, rice, pasta, cereal, and baby food, or make a monetary gift.
Since the Holiday Train program launched in 1999, it's raised more than $22.5 million and collected 5 million pounds of food for community food banks across North America.
Accessibility
- Accessible viewing area in front of the train boxcar stage is available for people who use wheelchairs or have mobility challenges (first come, first served).
- One companion may accompany an individual in the accessible seating area; a chair will be provided.
- Wheelchair-accessible portable washrooms will be available on site.
Getting There
Taking HSR, walking or biking are strongly encouraged, as there is no on-site general event public parking. Lawrence Road will be closed between Cumberland Ave. and Ottawa St. from 4 to 10 pm.

Accessible Transit & Parking
DARTS vehicles will drop off and pick up passengers within the road closure in the parking lot at 256 Gage Ave South. Visit www.dartstransit.com for more information on this transit service.
For attendees with Accessible Parking Permits, limited spots will be available in the lot at 256 Gage Ave South (first come, first served until full).
Drivers must show their Accessible Parking Permit to the attendant at Gage Ave S. and Cumberland Ave.
Note: This location requires up to a 5-minute walk/wheelchair to the event site.
