Street Tree Deferral

If you have reviewed the program details and wish to formally request a delay in the planting of a new street tree, please complete the form below and submit it for processing.

Upon receipt, municipal staff will confirm acknowledgment of your request and postpone the planned tree planting within the public right-of-way adjacent to your property for a period of three years. At the conclusion of this period, the location may be reassessed to determine suitability for tree planting.

If your concerns remain applicable beyond the initial three-year deferral period, you may submit a new request at that time for further consideration.
