Are you interested in becoming a candidate for the 2026 Municipal Election?
Join us for an information session for anyone interested in becoming a candidate in the 2026 municipal election. This will be hosted by the City of Hamilton with presentation from the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2026
Time: 6 to 8 pm
Location: Council Chambers
This session will provide information to Candidates and Third Parties on the nomination and campaign process, and advised of requirements under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 and the Education Act, 1990.
