Celebrate Soccer Fever in the City!

The FIFA World Cup 26™ is coming June 11–July 19, 2026, and Tourism Hamilton is spotlighting local businesses that are helping bring the excitement to life!

Introduction

This form is for FIFA businesses that plan to host match viewings, themed menus, special events, or other related activities and wish to be listed as part of the City of Hamilton’s ‘Cheer Zone’ map.

By participating, your business may be featured on a public-facing interactive 'cheer zone' map, making it easy for residents and visitors to discover where to watch, gather, and celebrate throughout the tournament.

Important Dates:
The intake form opens April 1, 2026, and closes Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:59 pm.

The interactive map will be featured on the Tourism Hamilton website and go live in May 2026.

Form Submission Requirements:

You are planning to celebrate the spirit of the tournament.
Certificate of insurance (COI) listing the City of Hamilton as additional insured for the coverage period of June 11-July 19, 2026.
Information provided will be used for informational and promotional purposes only. Completing this form does not guarantee inclusion; the City of Hamilton reserves the right to review and confirm all listings.

Naming the City of Hamilton (71 Main Street West, Hamilton, Ontario, L8P 4Y5) as additional insured.
Indicate the coverage period as June 11-July 19, 2026.

Submission Notice

By submitting this form, businesses confirm they are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and broadcast rights related to the screening of FIFA World Cup 26™ matches: https://publicviewing.fifa.org/public_viewing. The City of Hamilton reserves the right to edit, refuse, or remove listings at its discretion, including but not limited to incomplete submissions, inaccurate information, or content deemed inappropriate or inconsistent with the purpose of the map. By submitting this form, you grant the City of Hamilton permission to publish the provided information, including business name, address, hours, and promotional details, for the purpose of promoting locations and events of the FIFA World Cup 26™ through associated marketing channels.

Indemnification

The participating business agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City, its elected officials, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, fines, penalties, costs, or expenses (including legal costs) that arise out of or relate to the business’s participation in, operation of, or activities associated with the World Cup Cheer Zone. This includes any acts or omissions of the business, its employees, contractors, or volunteers. This indemnity does not apply to claims arising solely from the negligence or willful misconduct of the City. The City may enforce this indemnity on behalf of its elected officials, officers, employees, and agents. This indemnity will remain in effect during the event and will continue after the business’s participation in the Cheer Zone has ended.

The City of Hamilton collects information under the authority of Sections 10 and 227 of the Municipal Act, 2001. Any personal information collected with this form will be used for designing the City of Hamilton FIFA World Cup 2026 Cheer Zone.
