Bus News Winter 2026
Starting Sunday, December 28, 2025, we’re making small schedule changes on several routes to make sure you get where you need to go, on time. These changes will make a real difference for communities across Hamilton.

Bus Stop Changes
Effective Sunday, December 28, these bus stop changes will be in effect. Watch for signs posted at the affected stops.
Route 4 Bayfront
Route now travels York St. to James St. N instead of traveling down Murray St. to head Northbound.
Route 8 York
Changes to the stops along York St.
Route 44 Rymal
The 44 Rymal we be using Platform 5 at the Confederation GO station.
Stoney Creek Industrial
This is an a.m. / p.m. service to support the Stoney Creek Industrial area.
PDF Schedule Finder
An east-west route traveling from University Plaza in the west end to Eastgate Square in the east end. This route is interlined with 55 Stoney Creek Central and 58 Stoney Creek Local.
Travels the furthest north of all HSR routes, looping at the Burlington Bus Terminal. This route also travels along an expressway.
Runs on a clockwise loop using Wentworth, Stinson, Victoria and Burlington Streets.
Travels between Meadowlands Transit Terminal and the shopping complex at Wilson and Garner. This route is interlined with 43 - Stone Church.
A new fixed-route service, route will connect Waterdown to Aldershot GO Station and Burlington Transit at Plains Road. Route 18 will operate at a 30-minute frequency.
The A-Line Express is a north-south express route that travels from downtown Hamilton to the Hamilton International Airport. The route also stops on the Fennell campus of Mohawk College.
Glanbrook Trans-Cab service operates Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Park N' Ride: HSR Mountain Transit Centre on Upper James, with platforms for Route 20 - A-Line and Route 27 - Upper James.
A north-south route that travels from the MacNab Terminal Platform #7 to Upper Mount Albion and Stone Church. This route has extended to Upper Mount Albion and Stone Church. The bus loop at Limeridge and Mountain Brow is no longer serviced.
Travels from the Terminal Platform #1 to Upper Ottawa and Rymal Road.
Travels from the Terminal Platform #2 to Upper Gage and Rymal Road. This route is interlined with Route 24 - Upper Sherman at the end of the line for most trips.
Travels from the Terminal Platform #2 to Upper Gage and Rymal Road. This route is interlined with Route 23 - Upper Gage at the end of the line for most trips.
