Winter Registration Information

HOLIDAY CLOSURES
Facilities will be closed at 4pm on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 and Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Facilities will be closed December 25, 2025 (Christmas), December 26, 2025 (Boxing Day) and January 1, 2026 (New Years Day).

PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS
Ancaster Rotary Centre: All daytime gym programs are cancelled Thursday, December 18.
Norman Pinky Lewis Recreation Centre: Gym programming (at Cathy Wever) cancelled December 19 due to maintenance.
Sir Wilfrid Laurier Recreation Centre: Length Swim/Open Swim 18+ 8:15 to 9:30 pm is cancelled Friday, December 19 for staff training.
Westmount Recreation Centre: Pickleball 18+ 6:30 am to 11 am is cancelled Monday, December 22.
Norman Pinky Lewis Recreation Centre: Lengths Swim 12:45pm to 2:15pm is cancelled Saturday, January 3, 2026.

MAINTENANCE CLOSURES
H.G. Brewster Pool: Facility closure from December 8, 2025 to January 12, 2026 for annual preventative maintenance.
Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre: Closed for emergency replacement of the boiler system responsible for facility, pool water and domestic hot water heating from December 12, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
• During the closure, the following programs will be temporarily added at Ancaster Aquatic Centre from December 19, 2025 to January 16, 2026: Mondays - WaterFit 9 to 9:45 am, Fridays - WaterFit 9 to 9:45 am
Sir Winston Churchill Recreation Centre: Closed for water system repair Monday, December 22 and will re-open December 23. All programming cancelled December 22.
Jimmy Thompson Pool: Closed for annual facility maintenance from January 19, 2026 to February 15, 2026 (reopening on February 17, 2026, after Family Day). Registered swim lessons will be relocated to either Sir Winston Churchill Recreation Centre or Norman Pinky Lewis Recreation Centre.
Huntington Park Recreation Centre: Facility closure from March 17, 2025 to Spring 2026 to replace pool waterslide and complete lifecycle renewal upgrades and enhancements.

During this closure, residents are encouraged to attend drop-in programs at nearby locations including: Ancaster Aquatic Centre, Ancaster Rotary Centre, Hill Park Recreation Centre and Westmount Recreation Centre.

The following programs will be temporarily added at Ancaster Aquatic Centre from December 19, 2025 to January 16, 2026:
