Claremont update: Second down-bound lane opening Wednesday, full down-bound closure Tuesday evening

HAMILTON, ON - March 24, 2017 - To prepare for the re-opening of a second down-bound lane on the Claremont access, the City of Hamilton will be closing all down-bound lanes between 9 pm and midnight on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 to remove some traffic barriers.

Two down-bound lanes are scheduled to re-open in the early hours of Wednesday, March 29, 2017. The third lane, which has been closed to traffic since 2012, will remain closed.

The City thanks motorists for their patience and cooperation as we work to ensure continued public safety along the escarpment roadways.
