Join us for the Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre Open House

HAMILTON, ON - On December 8, 2018, the members of the media are invited to attend an open house celebration for the re-opening of Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre. The event will include free indoor and pool activities for all ages.

Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre has been closed since Labour Day. The centre is now open and is offering a variety of drop-in programs. Patrons are encouraged to visit www.hamilton.ca/Recreation for more information.

Quick Facts

Renovations at Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre included:

• Painted lobby washrooms
• New LED pot lights in front lobby
• Bottle filling station on the pool deck
• Anti-slip coating on the pool deck

• Pool equipment replacement
• Replacement of the existing large central duct overtop of the pool with two new large ducts
• Installation of new filters and air balancing
