Leadership change within the City’s Planning and Economic Development Department

HAMILTON, ON – The City of Hamilton has issued the following statement regarding a leadership change within the Planning and Economic Development Department:

“After careful consideration, the City and Mr. Arvin Prasad, General Manager, Planning and Economic Development, have mutually agreed to conclude Mr. Prasad’s employment with the organization.

Norm Schleehahn will continue as Acting General Manager, Planning and Economic Development at this time. The City will ensure appropriate interim leadership is in place while a competitive recruitment process is undertaken for the permanent General Manager position.

The City appreciates Mr. Prasad’s contributions and wishes him well in his future endeavours.”
