Study Commencement & PIC 1 for Airport Road Conceptual Link EA
The 2018 Hamilton Transportation Master Plan identified the creation of a new link between Highway 6 South and Red Hill Business Park (RHBP) as a potential solution to improve the efficiency of goods movement in South Hamilton. The City of Hamilton has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) to evaluate options for a new link between Highway 6 South and RHBP, connecting to the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport and its surrounding employment lands to address long-term transportation needs by enhancing people and goods movement, alleviating operational and connectivity challenges, and supporting economic growth in South Hamilton.
If you have any accessibility requirements to review the PIC materials and provide comments, please contact the City Project Manager.
