Hamilton Youth in Construction – Free Training Program

Hamilton Youth in Construction is a free program designed for young adults interested in starting a career in the construction industry. Participants will gain hands-on experience, industry certifications, and job-readiness skills. The program also includes support services to help remove barriers to participation and employment. Program benefits include transportation support to and from the training center, $25/day stipend and post-program job support from LiUNA staff and Xperience Annex Youth Navigator.

Important Dates:

• Screening Session: May 6 at 10:30 am (Lister Block, Hamilton) 
• Assessment Day: May 19 (260 Hunter Rd, Grimsby) 
• Program Duration: May 25 to June 19

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must live in the Hamilton area 
• Ages 18–29 
• Completed Grade 10 math 
• Not currently employed or in school
