Five Days to Emergency Preparedness awareness campaign launch
HAMILTON, ON - May 5, 2017 - The City of Hamilton is marking Canada’s annual Emergency Preparedness Week (May 7-13, 2017) with the “Five Days to Emergency Preparedness” awareness campaign. Starting Monday, May 8, 2017, daily tips to help educate Hamilton families and individuals on how to easily prepare for a range of emergencies will be shared to build a community understanding around emergency preparedness.
“As we have seen, emergencies can strike at any time. During Emergency Preparedness Week, I am asking all our residents to help us by reviewing the tips being provided during the “Five Days to Emergency Preparedness” to ensure that they are prepared in time of an emergency. ”
