Bus News Winter 2026
Starting Sunday, December 28, 2025, we’re making small schedule changes on several routes to make sure you get where you need to go, on time. These changes will make a real difference for communities across Hamilton.

Bus Stop Changes
Effective Sunday, December 28, these bus stop changes will be in effect. Watch for signs posted at the affected stops.
Route 4 Bayfront
Route now travels York St. to James St. N instead of traveling down Murray St. to head Northbound.
Route 8 York
Changes to the stops along York St.
Route 44 Rymal
The 44 Rymal we be using Platform 5 at the Confederation GO station.
Stoney Creek Industrial
This is an a.m. / p.m. service to support the Stoney Creek Industrial area.

Detour of Route 44 - Rymal due to Garner Rd Construction
Due to construction on Garner Road between Glancaster Road and Southcote Road, Route 44 Rymal will be on detour.
Detour Details: Route 44 Rymal
- Eastbound – From Garner Road at Southcote Road, turn right on Southcote Road, left on Book Road, left on Glancaster Road, right on Rymal Road, then resume regular eastbound routing.
- Westbound – From Glancaster Road and Garner Road, turn left on Glancaster Road, right on Book Road, right on Southcote Road, left on Garner Road, then resume regular westbound routing.

The following stops will be out of service for this detour:
Westbound:
- Garner Opposite Glancaster
- Garner at Raymond
- Garner at Barley
- Garner at Springbrook
- Garner at Redeemer University College
- Garner at Kitty Murray Ln
- Garner at Southcote
Eastbound:
- Garner Opposite Kitty Murray Ln
- Garner Opposite Redeemer University College
- Garner Opposite Springbrook
- Garner at Bennett’s Apples
- Garner Opposite Raymond
- Garner at Glancaster
Temporary Stops:
- Westbound: Garner at Southcote (Northwest side of intersection near the Esso gas station.)
- Eastbound: Glancaster Rd at Glancaster Loop
