We supported maintaining downtown exemptions/discounts and a number of other discounts and provide the City with detailed financial analysis. WE HBA will also provide advice and recommendations for temporary or permanent reductions on development charges and on related municipal imposed charges on new housing including Parkland Dedication By-Laws and Parkland Studies as well as the removal of Community Benefits Charges. We are opposed to increases in Planning Fees and other new taxes, charges and fees. We are advocating for temporary or longer-term reductions.
