I'm reaching out to the city of Hamilton, as I believe we are upon unique times regarding housing, and the solutions for affordable housing are closer than we may think...

We have been working on affordable housing solutions for a few years now and I'd like to share with you what we're doing in other municipalities using The Self Funding House™ concept.

It's a simple program to ignite affordability for our younger generations and tackling our two biggest housing crisis challenges:

1 - Affordability of ownership
2 - Affordable rentals

What I think your municipality has the opportunity to capitalize on, is motivating builders (and showing them, with our assistance) to supply housing affordability without eroding their business objectives, all while getting a 2-for-1 (home + rental) for the municipality's housing goals. Builders are hurting and there's an opportunity for a win-win here...

From the city's perspective, this is a great vehicle to not only double up on housing goals for 2030, but is a great way to attract and maintain young talent for your business community (ability to live in your municipality).
