Summer Concert Series: Sultans of Strings & Shannon Thunderbird

Listen to live music at Pier 8 on Monday evenings in July.  

Each concert will be preceded by a Family Storytime at 6:30 pm.

On Monday July 6, from 7-8pm, the Sultans of String with special guest Shannon Thunderbird perform live at Pier 8.  3x JUNO nominees and SiriusXM winners Sultans of String create "energetic and exciting music from a band with talent to burn!” (Maverick Magazine UK). Thrilling their audiences with their genre-hopping passport of Celtic reels, flamenco, Django-jazz and Arabic rhythms. Sultans of String are Chris McKhool - violin; Drew Birston - bass; Kevin Laliberté - guitar; and Saskia Tomkins - nyckelharpa. 

For this concert they are joined by special guest Tsm'syen singer Shannon Thunderbird on vocals.
HPL Live Music at Pier 8 is presented by Hamilton Public Library and the City of Hamilton.
