HDR2A Scenic Reservoir Expansion Joint Repairs

Project Details

The City of Hamilton, Hamilton Water Division, Plant Maintenance and Technical Services Section, assisted by R.V. Anderson Associates (Consulting Engineer) are preparing for Constriction Phase 2 of the Scenic Reservoir Repairs. Brook Restoration Ltd. (General Contractor) is mobilizing to complete to the Scenic Reservoir construction work including replacement of expansion joints in the west cell to maintain security of the drinking water supply.
Start date: September 2022 | Expected end date: April 2023

What to expect during construction

September 12, 2022 to April 2023

• Closure of the Municipal Parking lot located at 1180 Scenic Drive, Hamilton.

• Restricted access to reservoir for duration of work.

• Temporary access restrictions to the Chedoke Radial Trail between Beddoe Drive and Scenic Drive will be limited during contractor mobilization and demobilization.

• Pedestrians may be required to accommodate vehicular traffic on the Chedoke Radial Trail during the construction works.
